The Grill

MCG believed that designers are now turning towards artisanal, hand crafted goods. MCG conveys a powerful sense of glamour and monumentality in using materials that presents a more tailored luxury, artisanal.  New concepts of textured glass, porcelain finishes, terrazzo and geometric craft woodwork.  The wall spaces should be kept in a neutral tone with some colours on the FF&E and distinguished focal points only, and the ceiling to be redesigned with some story and historical references.  Hence, integrating the ceiling, columns and skylight design and become a statement. MCG’s new thought would be having a linear skylight that runs along the main dining hall, which demarcates the new and old structure.  The wine room closure would be a wine cage that makes up the wall of the distinguished wine room. New lighting design would be implemented to cater for the continuity.  The two private dining rooms are the hidden gem of the venue, situated behind these paneled walls of this dining hall, and is accessible by a private elevator.
