High Street 126

Setting sights on the prestigious West Mid-levels in Hong Kong, our ambition is to create a new epicentre of aspirational lifestyle at High Street.  The residential project fully showcases the unique advantages that Soho West has to offer.  Lifestyle amenities will become more and more abundant, creating a new neighbourhood that uplifts luxurious living to a whole new level.  Respectful of its context, the project’s proportions are apparent from both local and distant views, establishing a unique identity, while responding to building forms in close neighbourhood.  The project offers residential and retail space in a graceful sculptural composition of terracotta, reconstituted stone, and glass.  The building has varying textures and opacities designed to reference King’s College in close vicinity, our intention was to use some qualities of these tiles – material, colour, ornament in a new way that would stand ambiguously between figurative and abstract, pattern and texture.
